Hulon Willis, Sr. Diversity Education Resource Collection

This collection of books and educational materials is dedicated to the memory of Hulon L. Willis, Sr., who was the first person of color admitted to the College of William & Mary and the first person of color to graduate with a degree in Education. Willis was admitted to the College in 1951 and graduated with a Master's in Education degree in 1956.

Hulon Willis Collection

The collection, housed in the Learning Resource Center (Schoolof Education, room 2076), is a non-circulating resource collection that provides materials in all areas of diversity reflected in the School of Education Statement on Diversity. It is a growing collection with works purchased by the School of Education and donated by faculty and members of the School of Education community.
